After buying a DVD player recently, I started building a sizable DVD collection. To my dismay, many of the DVD cases make it extremely difficult to remove the DVD. On this page, you will find ratings of my DVD cases. Each case is compared to a regular music cd case.

6 DVD Flipcase, edges are easy to grasp, and center button works

Case has standard thumb and finger molds that can actually grasp the cd. Center ring is easily pushable with the thumb.

Cannot grasp DVD before pushing center button, however, center button does effectively "pop" DVD so thumb and finger can grasp it.

How not to do a double DVD case. There's only one finger mold, and the center button is not a button, but two prongs that have to be squeezed at the same time before it will release the DVD. I usually flip the case upside down to get DVDs out.

Nifty flip book double DVD case. First cd has standard molds, almost able to grasp DVD, center button works. Second DVD is standard mold.

Great movie, horrible DVD case. DVD case is modeled like killer's notebook. Has standard molds, but cannot use them. Center button does nothing. Had to have assistant bend case while I literally unscrewed DVD around center button.
